I have had the privilege of being involved in a ‘Rotary Foundation’ funded program, GSE as a team leader (GSE=Group Study Exchange) The Rotary Foundation is Rotary’s own charity which has had at it’s core since 1985 the eradication of Polio around the world.

Bill Gates (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation) managed to build a partnership with Rotary International to tackle the eradication of Polio and many other destructive diseases which blight communities around the world. The BBC had the insight to invite him to give the Dimbleby Lecture…

It reinforced my conviction that Rotary Clubs the world over are having a massive impact in communities – locally; nationally and internationally and I give an open invitation to any reader to contact me if you wish details on how to locate your local club and get involved with the extremely broad range of service activities at home or abroad.
